There has been little real news of late about the planned golf course near Calaceite, and the marina being planned in tandem. However, Torrox mayor Óscar Medina did give it a small mention back in September, when Sur In English interviewed about the forthcoming Torrox Tourist Day celebrations...

"In the long term, Torrox town hall is working on underground car parks on the coast and in certain parts of the old town and on the implementation of the marina and golf course in the Calaceite area, which would make Torrox one of the leading places in the east of Andalucía," Medina concluded.

That's it. It's not much, but it does indicate the plans are still moving forward.
